How to import transactions from mBank or ING into an app?
CSV import is a way to add bank transaction history to a finance app without connecting through open banking. The biggest problem? Finding the file in online banking — every bank hides this option in a different place.
Martia solves this with a new import wizard. Drag & drop interface, visual bank selector (click mBank or ING), and a help modal with step-by-step instructions — including screenshots for ING (5 steps) and a Loom walkthrough video for mBank.
After import, you see a detailed summary: how many transactions were imported, duplicates skipped, and how many were auto-categorized. If something doesn't match — warnings are visible immediately.
Is CSV import safe?
The CSV file is processed locally in your browser, then data is sent over an encrypted connection to Martia's servers. We don't store original CSV files — only the processed transactions.
Duplicates are automatically detected — if you import the same file twice, no transaction will be duplicated. Every imported transaction also goes through automatic categorization, identical to bank-connected transactions. As of March 2026.
