Disconnect stays the safe option
“Disconnect” still works as before: the bank leaves the view, the transactions stay, and you can restore them from hidden connections. That remains the default, reversible move.
“Remove bank and history” is a separate button. Before anything disappears, Martia repeats the bank’s name and says plainly that the accounts, balances and transactions cannot be recovered afterwards.
Afterwards that bank is truly empty
Removal covers every connection of that bank — including older or stuck generations the account list does not show. Transactions, balances and leftover sync data go with it.
Connecting the same bank later does not inherit hidden history. It starts like the first time: empty, without quarantine from old data and without a row to restore.
